Description

Hike to Monte Casale with breakfast at a mountain hut.

An early morning hike to experience the mountains at their quietest. You set off in the dark and make your way up to Monte Casale, reaching the summit as the sun rises.
At the top, there is a break at Rifugio Don Zio for a simple breakfast, before heading back down.

Hike and breakfast: here’s how to get ready

Meeting point at 4:00 am at the fountain car park in Ponte Arche (Open in Google Maps)
The experience time may slightly vary depending on the actual sunrise time. Any changes will be communicated in advance;
The experience includes jeep transfer and a short walk on SAT trail 411;
Breakfast at Rifugio Don Zio included in the ticket price;
The hike is led by a local expert, who will share insights into nature, landscapes, and the history of the area
What to bring: trekking shoes, backpack with at least 1 litre of water, snack, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, spare t-shirt, sweatshirt, and waterproof jacket or umbrella.

This experience is not accessible to people with motor, visual or hearing impairments, due to the mountain trail conditions.

Ottima organizzazione. Giorgia è stata molto gentile nel richiamarci perché si era liberato un posto, preparata e professionale nelle spiegazioni. Divertente il tragitto in jeep con l'autista Giorgio simpatico e disponibile. Vale la pena la levataccia per godere di un panorama suggestivo tra il tramonto della luna e il sorgere del sole. Coccola finale con una deliziosa e ricca colazione al rifugio. Continuate così

È sta una piacevole esperienza. Giorgia molto gentile e precisa nella spiegazione di quello che stavamo ammirando. L ' autista Giorgio molto empatico e disponibile. Consiglierei di continuare a organizzare queste escursioni per ammirare la bellezza che ci circonda.
